Holy separation, curl and buildability. Guys. Ok, wow. Just go get this in your life. I tried it for the first time yesterday and I immediately fell head over heels in love. This mascara is everything and
All that bravado aside, this mascara has me excited, it has me living my best life and shooketh to the core. I tried it on last night before my husband and I went to the pet store and wow, let’s just say, that pet store got #blessed by the sheer magic that was my lashes.
I bought this mascara on a whim a few weeks ago, but I was in the midst of trying out some very bougie lines of mascara and you know how those hefty price tags and gorgeous packages call to you and convince you that they must be worth it? That was the game that I was tied up in, the Diors of the world compelled me and sucked me in. I’ll post reviews of them soon because yes, they are amazing as well. But wow, I’d be lying if I didn’t say that Benefit Roller lash kind of blows them out of the water.
Here’s why. It’s amazingly buildable, giving you insane volume-without any sacrifice in separation or curl. It’s like the more you build it, the more separation you get. It’s insane. You know how usually when you go to build up the intensity of your mascara and you start coating several times then your lashes start to get a little (or super) clumpy and you get the dreaded “two lashes becoming one” with those weird gaps of no lash on your eyes? Ugh, just typing that sentence gives me a queasy feeling on unease.
With roller lash, that headache is gone. It’s just so easy and perfect. It’s truly what a mascara should be. It also has a curved wand that gives you amazing curling power.
My scoring: 10/10. If I were a teacher and Roller lash was my student, I’d be like you get an A++++++, you’re too good for this school, please start teaching me. It’s just that good. The volume, separation, buildability, deep rich colour, curl hold. Raw wow factor. To give anything less than a perfect score would be a deep injustice.
Also, I highly recommend getting it in the travel size. For one it’s kinder to your wallet and for two, I love buying mascaras in the travel size because mascara is a product that expires so fast (3 to 6 months) that I find I almost never use up the whole full-size tubes before they start to dry out. I also have found smaller size mascaras are easier to apply. Roller Lash is available at Sephora for $24 (full size) and $13 (travel size). Now get out there and show the world what lashes were meant to be.
