You’re Going to Want to Throw Away All Your Other Deodorants After Trying This One

You might think that deodorant is just a deodorant, like a toothpaste or a handsoap, nothing special, well, that’s because you haven’t tried this one.

Dove’s new dry serum antiperspirant is amazing and will make you see deodorants in a new light, of what they could be. It seriously raises the bar in everything from the scent to the soft and ultra-plush moisturization, to the application itself. I bought it after I ran out of my old deodorant. What drew me in was the packaging, it looked totally different from all the rest, and sure enough, it is.

The dry serum deodorant is by far the most luxurious deodorant experience ever. It’s sheer and lightweight. It comes out more like a super soft cream that’s almost like it’s whipped -that’s how lightweight it is. You just twist the bottom of the lid one time till a little bit comes out and apply it. The shape of the applicator head is so great, it actually fits the shape of an armpit and easily spreads the product out evenly and comfortably for once.

I also thought that regular deodorants could use some help in their shape as they don’t perfectly fit an underarm. Luckily Dove thought so too and created the dry serum. The other nice thing is that a little goes a long way; you only need that one click’s amount. (When you turn the lid you’ll hear a little click when the deodorant serum comes out). It is an antiperspirant, and you’ll get 48-hours of protection. This is definitely true (although I haven’t tested it for a full 48-hours wear since I tend to shower more often than that). It held up through workouts, hikes, and some swelteringly hot days of summer.

I found that my underarms are so comfortable with this deodorant, and no wonder since there’s so much moisturization going on. Dove says that it contains 1/4 moisturizers for soft and beautiful underarms to which I can happily attest. I have the Rose scent, and it’s incredible. It’s a light floral with notes of rose, magnolia, and peony. I love the scent so much that I’ve chosen to forgo perfume sometimes just because I want to smell it throughout the day and I think it honestly smells just as good as a perfume.

So the next time you’re in the market for a new deodorant, don’t just settle for something good, or worse, okay. Get something that’s luxurious and amazing, you and your underarms deserve it.
